Reflective Retreats:
When to Use an Outside Facilitator

Every retreat or meeting is a gamble, but your chances of success are better if you work with someone who designs and facilitates them all the time.

To most people, planning a meeting or retreat is a drag – time consuming and not necessarily getting the results you want. When you think about costs, consider that you are already paying each attendee’s salary divided by 200 (approximately), in addition to facility and food costs. In that light, the expense of a facilitator who can maximize your investment often looks modest – and wasting the time of your group is expensive in more ways than money.
